Argentine Air Force receives Bell 412EP

A Bell 412EP purchased for the Argentine Air Force was recently delivered to the Area Material Quilmes (AMQ) in Buenos Aires, oddly for a new aircraft, to be painted and serialled.

The helicopter, c/n 36621, was ferried from Fort Worth, Texas, registered N496FB, but been tested in Canada from November 21, 2012 to August 7, 2013 as C-GUKJ. A second example, c/n 36375, has been purchased from Modena Air Services which chartered it to Heliandes, operated for some time in the Patagonia.

They will augment the fleet of Bell 212s currently in service with the VII Brigada Aérea of José C. Paz, in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, after the unit retired their last Bell UH-1Hs in 2009. Santiago Rivas
