Argentine Army retires Hiller UH-12ET

DURING A ceremony to commemorate Argentine Army Aviation Day, on November 29, 2013, the force retired all of its Hiller UH-12ET training helicopters. While there were eight on the inventory, only two were operational after the Army Aviation School received five Bell 206 Jet Ranger III helicopters on 2011.

The Argentine Army Aviation received a first batch of four UH-12ET Ravens on September 15, 1980, followed by another four on October 13, 1983, serialled AE-356 to 363. None of them were lost in accidents, despite their intense use throughout their 30 years of service. Santiago Rivas
