EARLY OCTOBER, saw the Bolivian Air Force take delivery of its first of two BAe Jetstream 32s purchased on the second hand market. The aircraft, serialled FAB-045, will be used mainly by the air force’s airline Transporte Aéreo Militar (TAM), to partially replace its fleet of three Casa C-212s. The company, also operates a BAe 146-200. Another Bolivian Air Force operated airline Transportes Aéreos Bolivianos (TAB) received a third McDonnell Douglas DC-10 in October too. The DC-10F, CP-2489, was converted into a cargo transporter for Fedex, which then sold the former airliner to TAB. It joins TAB’s fleet of one DC-10-10 and DC-10-30. Santiago Rivas
